Out of Auckland club Mangere East (home to such diverse league identities as Kiwi great Olsen Filipaina and the Mad Butcher, Peter Leitch). A Junior Kiwi in 1998, he's now a fully-contracted player on the Warriors' 35-strong playing staff. He was in Auckland South's squad for the National Provincial Cup competition last year, and was on the interchange bench for the grand final victory over Auckland North. Gained further exposure travelling to Brisbane to play for Wynnum-Manly in the Queensland Cup (the Warriors sent up to four players a week to turn out for either Wynnum-Manly or Brisbane South). Adds to the Warriors' depth in their back row forward resources.
